To the editor:
We published a research article (Determination of venlafaxine and modafinil in individual tablet dosage forms using single RP-HPLC method. Trop J Pharm Res 2013; 12[2]: 239-245) in your prestigious journal. Some researchers in our group have recently tried the method reported in the article with similar conditions but were unable to get the same results; the compounds were not eluting from the column at the conditions reported in the article. We believe that what we reported at that time was based on false positive results. We therefore want to withdraw this research article. My sincere apologies for all the trouble (review, editing, publication). Many thanks in advance. Sincerely, Mohammad Younus
